She is a medical entomologist, working on insect vectors and pathogens interaction.
She studied biology and entomology at the the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar.
She was enrolled in PhD internship at Institut Pasteur de Madagascar, where she became a medical entomologist working on fleas transmitting the plague disease. Currently, she is a postdoctoral visiting fellow at the Plague Section of the Rocky Mountain Laboratories (NIAID), a campus of the National Institutes of Health (USA) and her research is focusing on fleas vector competence for plague bacterium (Yersinia pestis).

She is also interested in science communication, making scientific subjects accessible and interesting for non-scientists, to share knowledge and inspire the future generation.
